Woocommerce
WooCommerce is my choice of e-commerce platform because it’s free, open-source, and has a wide range of features and customisation options. It’s also really easy to use, integrates with numerous payment gateways and shipping providers, and has a large community of developers and users who continuously develop and improve it. Perfect if you want to sell online.
Here are some great Woocommerce plugins that you can easily integrate with your website to enhance shopping capabilities.
Ahrefs
AHREFS is a brilliant SEO tool that helps you to analyze your website’s performance, optimise its search engine rankings, and monitor your competitors. With its awesome features and user-friendly interface, it is my favourite (and must-have) tool for improving a website’s SEO performance.
Google Site Kit
Google Site Kit is a free WordPress plugin that connects your website with various Google services such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google AdSense, and Google PageSpeed Insights. With Google Site Kit, you can access all your website’s performance data in one place (your WordPress dashboard), without the need for multiple logins and interfaces.
I install Google Site Kit on ALL the websites that I build.
Getting organised
Great business solutions and sytems start with great tools.
Trello
Trello is a web-based project management tool that will allow your and your team to manage all your projects and tasks.
It uses a visual board system that allows users to create boards, lists, and cards to represent projects, tasks, and subtasks. Trello’s intuitive drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to move cards between lists and assign tasks to team members.
Trello also integrated seamlessly with external apps such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Zapier and Slack.
Google Workspace
Previously known as G-Suite, Google Workspace is a powerful cloud-based productivity suite designed to suit businesses of all shapes and sizes.
It seamlessly integrates everything you (and your team) need to run your business including email and Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calander and Meet.
The best thing is that you can use it anywhere on any device and you can share what you’re working on in real-time.
Google Drive
Google Drive is an alternative to Microsoft Office, that lets you create and share documents, presentations, videos, spreadsheets and more. It’s reliable, user-friendly and FREE! Best of all it allows you to work and share in real time.
Dropbox
Dropbox is a cloud-based storage platform that allows you to securely store and share all your files and folders online.
MailerLite
MailerLite is an email marketing tool that allows businesses and individuals to create and send newsletters, automated emails, and campaigns to their subscribers.
They have beautifully designed and easy-use templates that integrated perfectly into WordPress and Woocommerce.
There are both FREE and paid versions.
Loom
Loom is a FREE video and screen recording tool. I wouldn’t be without it in my business. There is also a paid version if you need extra features.
Google Chrome Apps
Google Chrome apps are clever web applications (tools) that can be used within your Chrome browser. They make accessing common web applications so much easier because you don’t need open each one in a new browser. You can use them for productivity, design, communication and much more.
SOME OF MY FAVOURITES ARE:
- LastPass (for storing passwords)
- Loom (for easy screen recording)
- Grammarly (spelling & grammar checks)
- GoFullPage (for taking full-page screenshots)
- Tango (create how-to guides with perfectly cropped screenshots in seconds.)
- SEO Minion (helps with on-page SEO)
- Clockify (tracks your time and improves productivity)
- Color Dropper (Instantly copies HEX codes for any colours)
